Pricing
Straightforward pricing.
No surprises.
Our own apps are free. Bespoke work gets a fixed price before anything starts. Either way, you know the number before you commit to anything — that's the whole policy.
Our apps
Whytrain, JabLog, MOT Mate, Keepsake Ledger, and Deposit Shield are all free to use today. If we ever introduce an optional paid tier as an app grows, anything you've already built or recorded in the free version keeps working — we won't lock your own data behind a paywall retroactively, and any price will be shown clearly before you pay anything. See The Apps for what each one does, or the full policy on Support.
For people & small businesses
Bespoke websites & apps
A website for your trade. An app for your idea. Built by the same hands, to the same bar as our own apps — for individuals and small businesses only. Every price below is a starting guide; your actual project gets a written, fixed quote before work begins, and that quote — not this page — is the binding price.

- Your domain & hosting, set up in your name
- Looks right on every phone and laptop

Tell us the ideaHow payment works
Fixed price, agreed up front
You get a written, fixed quote before any work starts. If you ask for meaningful new scope mid-project, that gets its own written quote — we never silently add cost.
50/50, by bank transfer
Half the fixed quote books the project and starts work; the remaining half is due on completion, before final handover.
Never hourly
We don't bill by the hour, ever. Third-party running costs — your domain, hosting, app store fees — are registered in your name and you're told the amount before we commit to them.
What happens after launch
30 days of free fixes
Anything that's broken or not as agreed gets fixed at no charge for 30 days after handover. New features aren't fixes — those get their own quote, same fixed-price way as the original project.
No forced contract
After the 30 days, we can quote for maintenance or changes if you want them. There's no ongoing retainer you're locked into.
It's genuinely yours
On full payment you own the finished website or app, its content, and the domain/hosting/store accounts — all set up in your name from day one.
Pricing questions
Are the prices on this page final?
No — they're starting guide prices for the most common version of each option. Your actual project gets a written, fixed quote before work starts, based on one conversation about what the job actually is.
Is there a deposit?
Yes — 50% of the fixed quote to book the project, the remaining 50% on completion before handover. That's the full payment structure; there's no third instalment or hidden milestone fee.
What if my project turns out to need more than expected?
We quote the extra scope separately, in writing, before doing it. You decide whether it's worth it — nothing gets added to your bill without you agreeing to it first.
What ongoing costs should I expect after launch?
Just the third-party ones already in your name — domain renewal, hosting, and (for apps) the Apple/Google developer fee. We tell you these amounts before setting them up, and you keep 30 days of free fixes from us on top.
