Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aztec Purple (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with our mobile apps — including Whytrain — and this website. It is written for App Store users and reviewers as a plain-English baseline. It is not personalised legal advice.

1. Summary

Whytrain is built local-first. In the current App Store version, your purpose statement, name, photos you choose, body metrics you enter, workout logs, reminder preferences, and in-app feedback drafts are stored on your device and encrypted at rest. We do not operate an account server for that content in this version, so we cannot see it, sell it, or show it to advertisers. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or sell personal data.

3. Data Whytrain stores on your device

Depending on how you use the app, Whytrain may store locally:

This information stays in the app’s sandbox on your phone unless you export or share something (for example a streak share image via the system share sheet), or you send feedback by email (Profile → Send feedback opens your Mail app to info@arcanelabel.co.uk).

This marketing site does not use advertising trackers. Standard web-server or CDN logs (for example IP address, user agent) may be processed briefly by the host to deliver pages and keep the site secure. We do not use that to build marketing profiles.

7. Children

Whytrain is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under the age required in your country to consent to these practices without a parent or guardian.

8. Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you delete it in-app (Profile → Delete all my data) or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes the app sandbox on your device.

9. Future features

If we ever offer optional cloud sync, accounts, or paid AI features that send data off-device, we will update this policy and require a clear, separate opt-in before that data leaves your phone.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change. Material changes will also be reflected in App Store listing materials and, where appropriate, in the app.
